Sten J. Pettersen Hard hitting and brutal from the first tone, this is a great album that reinforces Jinjer as the masters of metal!

The sheer confidence needed to pull off Reggae Metal in "Judgement (& Punishment)" is staggering, and the result is pure brilliance!

Edit: After several listens, Home Back really grew on me, and has become my new favourite Jinjer track, especially after reading the lyrics properly! Favorite track: Home Back.

Matti Why are Jinjer so special? Can you imagine System of a Down and Skunk Anansie playing Djent/Metalcore together and Skin manages to growl like a cornered half dead animal?!? Maybe because of that... I'm in love 🤟😀 Favorite track: Retrospection.

rghchallen As with King of Everything, it breaks my preconceptions of metal. Favorite track: Judgement (& Punishment).

about

Ukrainian progressive groove metal wrecking machine JINJER have returned with their long-awaited new album Macro and once again prove why the unique blend of singer Tatiana Shmayluk's beautifully aggressive harmonies and vocal hooks, and the bands sheer technical brilliance and precision have set them apart from the pack. From Macro's opening track 'On The Top', which showcases all of their trademark sounds at once, to the superior musicianship and delivery of tracks like 'Pausing Death' and 'Home Back', to the viciously heavy reggae induced vibe on 'Judgement (& Punishment)', JINJER are making it known that they are here to take over in a huge way.

"A cocktail of modern prog metal, 'Macro' is the album where Jinjer show us what the future of heaviness sounds like.” - Loudwire
